Amazon fishing
Sustainability
Sustainable angling and the Amazon rainforest are not something you would associate with each other in our Nordic latitudes. Nevertheless, this is what more than 50 cities, several companies and local fishing guides have joined forces to do in the Brazilian state of Rondonia. The aim of the project is to preserve the Amazon rainforest while providing local communities and fishing guides with an income-generating alternative to logging, overfishing and illegal agriculture through adventure and angling tourism. When you book a fishing trip to the Amazon with us, your money is spent on local fishing guides, hotels and lodges. In addition, 10% of the tour price is earmarked for the education of local people to better understand the concept of carrying capacity and targeted conservation work in the rainforest.
Over 800 species of fish
There are over 800 different species of fish in the area where we fish, so in addition to peacock bass, giant catfish and arapaima, there’s plenty of opportunity for a surprise.
Catch & Release
As part of the conservation project, all fishing is catch and release, the only exception being when catching baitfish for catfish and arapaima.
More than a dream
Live the dream and take the fishing trip of a lifetime to the Amazon, where parrots, caimans and river dolphins are frequent visitors.
